Why HomeWagger Exists
Dog rehoming in the UK often happens in two extremes — long waiting lists and overwhelmed services, or informal routes with very little safety. HomeWagger exists to create a safer middle ground: ethical, welfare-first rehoming supported by better information and kinder matching.
Because shelters are being asked to do more — with less
UK rescues are under huge pressure: intake demand exceeds capacity, staff and volunteers are stretched, and complex cases are rising. HomeWagger helps reduce strain by supporting early, responsible rehoming where appropriate — so shelters can focus resources on urgent and high-need dogs.
Because prevention is welfare
