What is HomeWagger?

Is HomeWagger a charity?
HomeWagger operates as a hybrid social enterprise. The CIC handles the mission of ethical rehoming, and the tech company manages the app and platform tools.
For Adopters
How do I adopt a dog?
Create an adopter profile, set your preferences, and browse dogs in need of homes. Once you find a good match, you can express your interest directly from the app.
Do I need to pay to adopt a dog?
No. There are no adoption fees from HomeWagger. Some shelters may request a donation, but profit is never the motive.
Can I save dogs I like?
Yes! You can favourite dogs and revisit them later from your dashboard.
For Rehomers
Can individuals list dogs for rehoming?
Yes. Anyone with a genuine need can create a profile and list their dog, as long as it aligns with our ethical rehoming standards.
Are listings reviewed before going live?
Yes. Every listing is reviewed to ensure it’s safe, compassionate, and follows our guidelines. No breeders or sales allowed.
For Shelters & Rescues
Can our shelter use HomeWagger?
Absolutely. Shelters can create profiles, list dogs, and manage inquiries. We also offer advanced tools for Pro users.
What is HomeWagger Pro?
A premium toolkit for shelters that includes advanced listing features, internal vetting tools, analytics, and branded profiles.
General Questions
Is HomeWagger free to use?
Yes. Core features for adopters and rehomers are free. Shelters can choose to upgrade to a Pro plan for extra features.
Is HomeWagger available across the UK?
Yes, HomeWagger is UK-focused and open to adopters and rehomers nationwide.
How is this different from a pet marketplace?
HomeWagger is not a marketplace. No sales. No pressure. Just good people doing right by dogs. All listings are vetted and community-led.
